Privacy policy

A small data footprint.

QuietBrief does not currently offer accounts, accept payments, or collect information through forms.

Effective July 29, 2026

Information processed

The hosting service may process basic technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, device or browser information, requested pages, and timestamps. QuietBrief does not use advertising cookies or build advertising profiles.

Visitor analytics

QuietBrief uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page views, visits, referral sources, device categories, countries, and page-performance measurements. Cloudflare describes this service as privacy-first analytics that does not collect or use visitors’ personal data.

With your permission, QuietBrief also uses Google Analytics 4 to measure page visits, campaign parameters such as UTM source, medium, and campaign, and clicks on affiliate links. On a Cloudflare-proxied deployment this can be routed through Cloudflare Zaraz; on the current custom-domain setup, the Google tag loads only after you accept analytics. Affiliate-click events include the provider, placement, page path, and destination host; they do not include form answers or the full destination URL. When a visitor arrives from a recognized AI assistant, QuietBrief records a coarse source label such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, Gemini, or Claude together with the landing path. Google Signals, advertising audiences, and advertising personalization are not enabled.

Google Analytics stays off unless you accept analytics in the consent dialog. QuietBrief stores that choice in your browser. If Cloudflare Zaraz is active, Cloudflare stores the choice in its first-party consent cookie instead. You can review or change your choice at any time using “Privacy choices” at the bottom of the site.

With the same permission, QuietBrief uses Microsoft Clarity to create aggregate heatmaps and session replays showing interactions such as clicks, scrolling, page layout, and navigation. Clarity masks privacy-sensitive fields by default. Its analytics storage remains off until you accept, and advertising storage is always denied by QuietBrief. Declining analytics later sends a revoked consent signal and removes Clarity’s first-party analytics cookies.

Matcher answers

Matcher selections are evaluated in the browser to update the recommendation. They are not submitted to QuietBrief or stored in a user account.

External provider links

Clicking a provider or source link takes you to a third-party site. That site’s privacy practices, cookies, and terms apply. Review them before creating an account or sharing meeting data.

Future changes

If QuietBrief adds email signup, accounts, payments, advertising, or additional affiliate conversion tracking beyond click events and provider-managed referral links, this policy will be updated before those features are represented as available.
